This computer board game was created by Steve Stancliff in 1992. It is based off the old board game, Risk. Many different different adaptations have been produced since, but this was the first computer board game of it's kind, and it is still surprisingly fun to play. Steve released WinRisk as freeware, and this page was created to ensure that WinRisk will forever be available for download. (as long as Google keeps the page up!)<br /><br />WinRisk's features:<br /><ul><li>Up to 3 human players. Vacant slots will be played by the computer.<br /></li><li>Advanced AI for solo play.<br /></li><li>Can be played against someone over a modem.</li><li>Built for Windows 3.1, but works great on Windows XP and Vista.</li><li>Lower Card set and Limit armies per a territory options available.</li><li>The computer can play all 3 positions!</li></ul><br />The game is just as fun now as it was almost 20 years ago.
